We are proud to support and inspire rising stars of the future. Grace Gowland, 14, is a Karate expert from Leicestershire, participating in European tournaments and representing the Midlands Regional team. Brown belt double white stripe no less.

Inspiration is really important to Grace, for her motivation, achievement and confidence. We’re delighted she agreed to let us sponsor her recently as she competed in Europe. Thank you also to Phil Gowland(Grace’s Dad, and friend of the agency) and Jo Beattie (Grace’s Aunt, and agency team hero)

“Last month I competed in France for the Midlands Regional team”, Grace told us. “I love the inspire campaign because it’s relevant to what I do too and is a great way to help with motivation for training in the dojo. I use inspiration on a daily basis to help me achieve what I need to in Karate. Finding things that inspire me can make me feel confident in myself and what I am going to do.”

Talking of what inspires her, Grace said, “Some good things that inspire me are: Overcoming my personal goals, pushing past my limit to achieve growth, role models for example athletes on social media or even just people I know locally, teammates and coaches too”.

And in Grace’s final wise words that we can all learn from… “My inspiration isn’t to always win everything I do, but to feel like I am a winner. When I go to competitions my goal is to learn from the things I do correctly, but also the things that don’t always go right. It’s not all about the winning, it’s about growing and stepping outside of my comfort zone”.
